• Performers may choose a track that is no more than 5 minutes in length.

• When booking your slot you will be asked to provide details about the number of performers, track name, length and genre.
  

• If you are performing please make yourself known on arrival to the Hipnotic team members at the door.  Give your real name/performance name/troupe name as appropriate.  You will be shown to the dressing room and our stage manager will liaise with you about your performance.
  

• Performers should hand in their clearly labelled music (on CD) to the Hipnotic team members at the door on arrival.  Your CD can be picked up from this point or by asking a Hipnotic team member.  We can all be identified as we have hipnotic.org on the backs of our t-shirts.

• We have a small dressing room at our disposal, equipped with a full length mirror.  However, please be aware that the room is small and needs to be shared by all performers.  Please ensure that you do not leave unattended valuables in this room.

• The dance floor at the venue is separated by two pillars and contains ceiling fans.  Please bear this in mind when planning group numbers, or dances that involve props.  Contact us for more information if required.
  

• As a performance event we will endeavour to promote you, in return we would like a link from your website (if you have one). 

• As a public event Hipnotic has been set up to promote respect for Middle Eastern Dance as an art form for the enjoyment of those interested in the dance, and of those who are new to the dance form.  We will not tolerate dancers who degrade themselves or Middle Eastern Dance as we seek to educate and entertain the general public as well as experienced dancers.

• We are primarily an evening dedicated to Middle Eastern Dance, although we will also admit performers who promote/perform fusion styles, but only if it is done with total fidelity to the spirit of Middle Eastern Dance. 
  

• We reserve the right to admit performers at our discretion.

• We reserve the right to stop a performer if we feel that their performance or attire is inappropriate.

• There will be an official photographer at every Hipnotic event.  We reserve right to use any photos or film that we take on our website and for promotional purposes.   A link to photographs for sale from each event will be available on our Hipnotic Gallery page.
  

• If friends or loved ones wish to take photographs of  you please ask them to pose for you in the foyer area AFTER performances.

• If you wish your performance to be filmed by friends/colleagues then please check with the Stage Manager first.
  

• At this time we cannot offer any concessions for performers, or any help with travel expenses.
